The Summer 2016 concert took place on 16th July 2016 at Shirley Methodist Church, Shirley, Birmingham. The program included Brahms' fourth symphony and the ever-popular Dvořák Cello Concerto featuring Thomas McMahon.
The programme was:Beethoven: overture, Leonore number 3, Dvořák: Cello Concerto (Soloist: Thomas McMahon), and Brahms: Symphony number 4.

The concert was at the Methodist Church in Shirley, where we have performed before. The Methodist Church is on the main road, but car parking is to the back.
Directions and Car Parking: The Church is embedded in a row of shops in Shirley. At the traffic lights on Stratford Road turn into Solihull Road, and then left again where shown by a parking sign "Shirley Shoppers". A narrow road takes you into a large car park at the rear of the Church and neighbouring buildings. The car park is free. Walk from there towards Stratford Road, using the narrow pedestrian passage between shops. Turn right on reaching the pavement. The Church's main entrance is a few yards further on.
